Muhammad’s false miracles
Whether it has been invented by Muhammad or by his propagandists, there are countless outrageous stories about Muhammad, such as:
. Invisible angels hovered over Muhammad with their unfolded wings to shield him from the burning sands of the desert and the scorching rays of the sun.
. A cloud placed itself over Muhammad’s head to intercept the noontime rays.
. A withered tree suddenly put forth leaves and blossomed to give shade to the distressed Muhammad.
A simple umbrella would have done the job for all these miracles. All these miracles supposedly took place after he had survived many hardships in his childhood. Why did Allah not help Muhammad when he was an orphan child or when he was a penniless adult? Why did Allah not help Muhammad to get a wife prior to marrying a female 15 years his senior who had already been married twice? Yet after the invention of Islam, Allah bestowed countless virgins on Muhammad. How did that happen?
It is amazing that the primitive Meccans were able to dismiss Muhammad’s stories in the 6th century, yet in the 21st century, over a billion Muslims treat such stories as miracles without raising an eyebrow. If Muhammad was a miracle-performer, why is it then that he could not perform a single miracle for the Meccans in 13 years? Arabs, all Arabs, believe in superstitions, so if Muhammad had performed the alleged miracles or even few tricks, the Meccans would have been the first to believe in him.
Some more alleged miracles by Muhammad:
He split the moon in two parts as stated in the following Hadith:
. Bukhari: 4.56.831: “Narrated Anas That the Meccan people requested Allah's Apostle to show them a miracle, and so he showed them the splitting of the moon”;
. Bukhari: 4.58.209: “Narrated 'Abdullah The moon was split (into two pieces) while we were with the Prophet in Mina. He said, "Be witnesses." Then a Piece of the moon went towards the mountain”;
. Bukhari 6.60.387: “Narrated Ibn Masud During the lifetime of Allah's Apostle the moon was split into two parts; one part remained over the mountain, and the other part went beyond the mountain. On that, Allah's Apostle said, "Witness this miracle”.
Further outrageous miracles attributed to Muhammad:
. In Hadith of Muslim: 26. 5559: “He visited the towns of Jinns and some Jinns converted to Islam”.
Believers, whether Muslims or not, would inevitably make up stories of miracles to make their leaders look saintly. And Muhammad was no exception. Almost all claims of miracles are designed to promote ideologies, but the bottom line is that any “miracle” big or small only impacts on a small area and on few individuals. Evidently, those who promote miracles are of questionable character; they are either backward or conmen. Most instances of religious miracles are so ridiculous that they are hardly more than childish jokes. Furthermore, “the miracle performers” seem to be incompetent when they are in trouble themselves. If these miracles work on others, why do they not work for them? Muhammad is an ample example of zero-miracle performer.
